How returns and refunds work at REMOTEBOX Store (UK & EU).

1. Return window (UK)

You have 14 calendar days from the day after delivery to notify us that you wish to cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 / EU Consumer Rights Directive). After notifying us, please return the goods within the next 14 days. Your statutory rights for faulty goods remain unaffected (Consumer Rights Act 2015).

2. How to start a return

  1. Email returns@remotebox.co.uk with your order number and a short note confirming cancellation.
  2. We’ll reply with return instructions. You can use your own courier or request a prepaid label (if available; the cost will be deducted from your refund).
  3. Pack the item securely, include all accessories and your order reference.

Keep the proof of posting and tracking number until your refund is completed.

3. Condition & eligibility

  • Items must be in original condition with all accessories and packaging where reasonably possible.
  • Include proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice).
  • We may deduct for diminished value if the product shows signs of use beyond what’s necessary to inspect it.
  • No restocking fees are charged.

4. Non-returnable items

Unsealed hygiene products, personalised or made-to-order goods, perishables, and digital content after download or streaming begins (with your prior consent acknowledging loss of the right to cancel).

5. Faulty or damaged items

Contact us immediately if an item is faulty or arrives damaged. We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate. For confirmed faults or picking errors, we cover the return shipping. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods for a full refund.

6. Return shipping & costs

For change-of-mind returns, you pay the return postage. You may request a prepaid label (if available); the label cost will be deducted from your refund. Always use a tracked postal or courier service and keep your receipt.

7. Refunds & processing time

  • We refund the product price and the standard delivery cost (if paid) within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods back or valid proof of return — whichever is earlier.
  • Refunds are made to the original payment method. Card issuers typically post credits within 3–10 business days.
  • We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or you provide proof of dispatch.

8. Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges. To replace an item quickly, please place a new order and return the original for a refund.
